SCOUT Bags

The souvenir you’ll actually use every day is waiting at the SCOUT Flagship Store in Georgetown – stop in today!

Famous for lightweight, durable, colorful bags at friendly price points, SCOUT’s limited-edition Washington, DC-pattern totes and accessories are the perfect way to relive cherished memories of your DC adventures for years to come.

These exclusive bags feature local landmarks, icons, and experiences including the National Zoo, cherry blossoms, local eateries, historic monuments, downtown rowhouses, and more. Look closely and you’ll even spot our favorite place in town… our Flagship Store on 33rd St NW. Washington, DC is SCOUT’s hometown, and we love it for the mix of old and new. In addition to this “STATEment Collection” (including DC, Maryland, Virginia, and other states), you’ll find bags, coolers, accessories, and home storage in classic stripes and checks, bold graphics, and novelty patterns.

SCOUT was founded 20 years ago by celebrity stylist Deb Waterman Johns and her husband Ben Johns. Working parents with four young kids and four dogs at the time, Deb and Ben needed large, sturdy, affordable (great looking!) totes to schlep all of their family’s stuff without getting weighed down. When they couldn’t find them, they made them. Stop in for the best souvenir in town and start your SCOUT collection today. We can’t wait to see you!
