Celebrate with hands-on Dino activities, fun for all ages!

Aug 09, 2025. 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Join Us for a Dino Festival!

Get ready for a day filled with hands-on, imaginative craft projects that will ignite your creativity! From dinosaur jewelry making to DIY dinosaur magnet making, there’s something for everyone in our thrilling lineup.

Festival Details:

  • Date & Time: Join us from 12 PM to 6 PM on Saturday, August 9

  • Location: The Craft Lab is located at Because Science, 1759 Columbia Rd NW, Washington DC 20009. We're located in the Adams Morgan neighborhood which is accessible via the red line (Woodley Park) and Green Line (Columbia Heights), several busses, and if you drive there is a parking garage at 2421 18th St NW.

Event Highlights:

  • Drop-In Style: Activities are available on a schedule throughout the festival, so swing by anytime. Each project takes about 10 to 30 minutes—perfect for a quick creative fix! And, you're welcome to come back throughout the day to try different activities.

  • No Registration Needed: Come as you are, but mid-event arrivals can help manage crowd flow since start times are the busiest.

Plan Your Visit:

  • Check the Schedule: Each activity is listed separately to help coordinate with friends.

  • Who it's for: Everyone! Adults and children are welcome to participate.

We can’t wait to celebrate the magic of dinosaurs with you!
