It’s no surprise that history buff Riley Poole calls Georgetown home. A blend of Federalist row houses and fashionable boutiques, the neighborhood was founded in 1751—nearly a half-century before the city of Washington was established. The neighborhood is best known for its cobblestone streets lined with shops and restaurants, but it’s also home to national treasures like the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal, Dumbarton Oaks and Tudor Place.
