The National Mall is a popular backdrop for movies, from Mr. Smith Goes to Washington and Forrest Gump to National Treasure. Stretching from the U.S. Capitol to the Lincoln Memorial, it winds past some of DC’s most famous landmarks, including the Washington Monument and the Vietnam, Korean and World War II Memorials.
From the Lincoln Memorial, walk north on 23rd Street to Pennsylvania Avenue. Take the westbound DC Circulator to Georgetown.| < previous stop | next stop > |
